DESCRIPTION: DOB&EEL created the concept design for an extensive remodel of this single family home in Dallas. A great deal of work was done to both the interior and exterior. Local firm Bernbaum Magadini Architects took over the project during design development and saw it to completion.
It was important to the owners to maintain a sense of warmth and balance with the original architecture. Modifications were also made to the garage and master bedroom. A new laundry room was added and the entire house was fitted with new windows and interior finishes.
An entirely new, modern kitchen was developed. New floor-to-ceiling windows were added in the dining room and new openings were cut between the two rooms, bringing natural light and a sense of connection to the beautiful oak trees in the front of the house.
